Pakistan on Wednesday, strongly rejected Indian allegations accusing Pakistan of being involved in terrorist activities in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
Foreign Office of Pakistan has rejected the so-called “charge sheet” by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), which mischievously attempts to implicate Pakistan in the Pulwama attack in IOK.
The fabrications in the reported ‘charge sheet’ are patently designed to further the BJP’s anti-Pakistan rhetoric and its narrow domestic political interests, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pakistan reiterated its principle stance urging India to abstain from baseless allegations and once again offered to extend its cooperation on any substantial evidence regarding the attacks.
The Foreign Office highlighted that India has failed to provide any credible evidence and that the fact that explosives used in the attack were collected from inside the IIOJK, and the key accused persons in the attack have already been killed by Indian forces make the matters ever more dubious.
“Pakistan constituted a high-level investigation team to examine its contents. As the information provided by India was incomplete, patchy and unsubstantiated, Pakistan shared two Aide-mémories, seeking further information and supporting evidence from India,” read the statement issued by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pakistan has stressed upon the fact that Indian government cannot hide and divert attention from its atrocities, state sponsored terrorism and grave human rights violation in the disputed valley via ‘false flag’ operations and baseless allegations against Pakistan.
