Pakistan and Kuwait have both agreed to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation as President Arif Alvi met with Kuwaiti foreign minister on Friday (today).
As per details, President Arif Alvi met with visiting Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in Islamabad.
During the meeting both sides reiterated their commitment to increase bilateral cooperation n the fields of education, health, trade and economy.

President Arif Alvi also conveyed Pakistan’s assistance in providing skilled labor and professionals to Kuwait.
Highlighting premier’s geo-economic significance, the premier noted that Kuwait could benefit of the emerging economic opportunities by making investment in different projects under CPEC.
Furthermore, President Arif Alvi raised the issue of human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) and apprised the Kuwaiti delegation of atrocities being carried out in the disputed valley.
