Lahore Qalandars qualified for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 final after defeating Islamabad United by 95 runs in the Qualifier 2 at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.
Lahore Qalandars will now face Quetta Gladiators in the PSL 10 final on Sunday, May 25.
The home side bowled out the defending champions for 107 in 15.1 overs after posting 202/8 on the scoreboard.
Chasing 203, the United batting lineup faltered as Mohammad Shahzad was castled by Shaheen Afridi for a duck in the first over.
Sahibzada Farhan (3) was bowled by Salman Mirza in the following over to leave the United reeling at 3/2 in 1.2 overs.
Rassie van der Dussen became Mirza’s second victim in the game after scoring just seven runs.
Salman Mirza removed Imad Wasim (8) in the sixth over as Islamabad United were reduced to 33/4.
Salman Agha and skipper Shadab Khan then attempted to rebuild the innings and take on the chase, taking their side to 72 in 9.4 overs.
However, Rishad Hossain struck in the 10th over to remove Agha, who scored 33 runs off 26 balls.
