US President Trump once again praised Field Marshal Asim Munir during his address at the Gaza Peace Agreement signing ceremony in Egypt on Monday.
During his address to the world leaders, Trump made special mention of Pakistan, referring to Field Marshal Asim Munir as his “favourite”, while acknowledging the participation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the summit.
“My favourite Field Marshal from Pakistan is not here today, but the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, is with us. Come and express your thoughts,” Trump said, inviting the Pakistani leader to address the gathering.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif once again nominated United States President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his outstanding and extraordinary contributions to stopping war between Pakistan and India, as well as seven other conflicts worldwide.
Speaking during a press conference at the signing of the Gaza Peace Agreement, PM Shehbaz said, “Today is one of the greatest days in contemporary history because peace has been achieved after untiring efforts led by US President Donald Trump.”
