On the occasion of World Children’s Day, renowned singer Bilal Maqsood hosted a grand event at the Aga Khan University auditorium in collaboration with UNICEF.
Bilal Maqsood said, “I want to make Urdu language cool for the new generation. Urdu is often considered the most boring subject in the schools, which is why we are showing Pakke Dost season Bachpan Bemisal to children in many schools.” He expressed hope that the project, done with UNICEF, will provide entertainment, education, and awareness to children.
Actress Sanam Saeed added, “Children should be trained at home before they are admitted to school. The first five years are very important, and Pakke Dost season Bachpan Bemisal seems to offer valuable guidance in this regard.”
Producers and directors Beenish and Omar Adil remarked, “We are receiving a wonderful response to Pakke Dost from all over the world. There is an urgent need for children’s programmes in today’s era. We have kept children’s psychology at the forefront, which is why they are taking great interest.”
Senior actor Ayaz Khan praised Bilal, saying, “Like Anwar Maqsood, his son is also doing a wonderful job.”
Representatives from UNICEF, Dr. Saba Shuja, and the Polio Team’s Melissa Corkum, presented the programme’s aims and objectives. A show‑reel of Pakke Dost Season 4 was screened, bouquets were presented, and all attendees were treated to lavish hospitality.
