The Imam of Humanity Ambassador Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui expressed my heart goes out to our Shia brothers on the gut wrenching incident at Imam Bargah in Islamabad earlier today. Deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in this barbaric act and termed it a cowardly assault on innocent worshippers and the sanctity of a place of worship. Such acts of terrorism are against the teachings of Islam and humanity and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
The Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) conveyed his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and for the early recovery of the injured. He also expressed solidarity with the affected families in this hour of immense grief and pain. It is deeply tragic that the Pakistani government continues to fail in taking serious and effective actions against terrorism, leaving innocent people vulnerable. He reiterated that the entire nation stands united against terrorism and pledged unwavering resolve to defeat all forces that seek to disrupt peace, harmony, and unity.
