Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the cancellation of its public rally at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
According to PTI sources, the rally was called off due to road closures and health issues of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
The chief minister was scheduled to attend the rally along with other party leaders. However, due to the placement of containers and road blockades, reaching the venue would have taken until around 6:00 a.m., making it difficult to hold the scheduled event.
PTI Karachi President Faheem Khan stated that the party’s programs scheduled for Monday will proceed as planned.
