China and Pakistan will “strengthen” their cooperation on Iran, Beijing’s foreign ministry said Tuesday, as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar landed in Chinese capital amid diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between US and Iran.
China’s Special Envoy for Afghan Affairs Yue Xiaoyong and Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi received DPM Dar on arrival in Beijing, the Foreign Office said.
After arriving in Beijing, Dar visited the Diaoyutai State Guest House for a bilateral meeting with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
