Mia Sadique- MISS PAKISTAN WORLD 2025 who made headlines this year for winning the crown of Miss Pakistan Universe 2025. She recently gave detailed interview for embarking her lifetime journey. Here is complete interview she unveiled about her secret.

Can you tell us a bit about your background, including your education, family, and some of the accomplishments you’re most proud of?
My name is Mia Sadique, I’m 20 years old and currently living in South Yorkshire, England, with a culturally rich background—my dad is Pakistani from Jhelum, and my mum is English. I’ve always been drawn to creative and meaningful work, which is reflected in my roles as a dancer, teacher, and supporting artist in film and TV. I perform at corporate events, and charity functions, and teach dance to children, including those with special needs.

I also work part-time in my dad’s property business, which allows me to contribute to impactful projects like building wells in Pakistan—one day, I hope we can open a women’s refuge center together. Academically, I studied drama, politics, and public speaking at A-Level and completed the Arts Award Gold with a focus on dance. I’m especially proud of raising over £19,000 for earthquake relief in Turkey and Syria and doing a skydive for Macmillan Cancer Support despite my fear of heights—both experiences showed me the power of using your platform for good.

What motivated you to pursue the Miss Pakistan World title?
I was inspired to apply for Miss Pakistan World because I wanted to celebrate my heritage and promote inclusivity while using my voice to make a real difference. Pageantry, to me, is about more than just appearance—it’s about confidence, advocacy, leadership, and personal growth. I saw this as an opportunity to challenge myself and inspire other women, especially in Pakistan, to embrace their identity and be proud of who they are.

Now that you’ve won the title, how do you plan to use it moving forward?
Winning this title is an incredible honor, and I see it as a responsibility to amplify the voices of women and advocate for meaningful change. My focus will be on raising awareness about the discrimination many women face in Pakistan and pushing for stronger laws to protect them from violence, harassment, and abuse. I plan to collaborate with charities and organizations that support women’s empowerment—whether through education, economic opportunity, or social support—so that I can help leave behind a legacy of hope, strength, and progress.

What social cause matters most to you, and why have you chosen to focus on it?
I’m deeply passionate about many important issues like mental health, racism, and bullying, but the cause closest to my heart is advocating for women’s rights in Pakistan. I believe every individual deserves dignity, freedom, and equality—regardless of gender, race, or religion—and the challenges faced by women in Pakistan, such as limited access to education, domestic violence, and social restrictions, are part of a wider global fight for justice. I’ve chosen this advocacy because I want to be a voice for those who are often unheard and help create real, lasting change.

What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities outside of your work?
I love staying creative and active, and dancing is definitely one of my biggest passions—I teach a weekly women-only dance class that’s especially welcoming for women who wear the hijab, offering a fun and safe space to move freely and confidently. I teach various dance styles and even include aerial skills like hoop and trapeze. I also organize an annual multicultural dance event to raise funds for different charities while celebrating diversity, which I’ve been doing since I was 17. Beyond that, I enjoy volunteering, especially with Penny Appeal, a charity I admire for its commitment to ending poverty and providing global support through education, emergency aid, and sustainable development projects.

What advice would you give to Pakistani women who want to pursue pageantry?
Believe in yourself and have confidence in your individuality. Embrace your heritage—being rooted in Pakistan is something to be proud of. Never feel the need to hide who you are, because your uniqueness is your greatest strength. Stay authentic, and let your values guide you. If you’re true to yourself and your purpose, you’ll shine in any pageant.
