Former Governor Sindh – Muhammad Zubair has been appointed as PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz’s spokesperson.
Muhammad Zubair – senior Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader has been appointed as the official spokesperson for ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.
Speaking at a press-briefing, Muhammad Zubair lambasted Sheikh Rashid Ahmad for issuing threats to Maryam Nawaz who is an ‘unarmed girl’.
Zubair also criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan for resorting to personal attacks on Nawaz Sharif on various occasions and in several interviews.
He also denounced the practice of allotting ‘patriotism certificates’ by government officials and spokesperson, whereas we never distributed certificates of patriotism, he noted.
Furthermore, he also categorically denied Dr Shahbaz Gill’s accusations claiming that Nawaz Sharif has held a secret meeting with Indians in London.
Citing an IPSOS survey report, Muhammad Zubair highlighted that government is fixated upon political point scoring and targeting opposition parties instead of addressing real issues as the survey report said that most people believe that the country is not heading in the right direction.
