Prime Minister Imran khan on Saturday (today), met with Machh incident victims’ families in Quetta.
The meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and victims’ families was held at Sardar Bahadur Khan (SBK) Women’s University in Quetta.

During the exchange, the premier offered his condolences to the victims’ families over the heinous, inhumane incident targeting Hazara Shia community.
PM Imran Khan reaffirmed that he is well aware of the issues faced by the Hazara community.
He also underscored that India wants to instigate, incite sectarian violence in Pakistan and that intelligence agencies had warned against such Indian activities back in March 2020 last year.
Furthermore, PM Imran Khan also held meetings with Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai and Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan.
The development comes as earlier, victims’ families and government reached an agreement at late hours of Friday night, calling off protests and sit-ins across Pakistan against Machh incident.
At least 11 coal miners were killed in the Mach area of Balochistan on Sunday last week after armed militants kidnapped them and took them to a nearby area before opening fire at close range.
The Hazara community had been protesting for six days in Quetta over the brutal murder of 10 coalminers in Balochistan’s Machh town last Saturday.
In solidarity with the Hazara community, protests and sit-ins were also being held in various towns and cities across the country, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
