President Alvi extends support to Kashmiris amid coronavirus pandemic

Muzaffarabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi has expressed support for the people of independent as well as Indian-occupied Kashmir as the threat of COVID-19 looms over the world.

The Presidnet also urged the people of Jammu Kashmir and indian-held Kashmir to protect themselves by following precautions.

While speaking to the President of Azad Jammu Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan on telephone, Mr. President showed his concern for the people of Indian-held Kashmir who are under lockdown and denied fundamental rights.

There are 65 suspected cases of COVID-19 in AJK cureently, as five more samples have been sent to National Institute of Health (NIH) in Islamabad for confirmation, and 82 confirmed cases of the pandemic coronavirus have been reported already – with no deaths or recoveries reported yet.
