Bank of Punjab Chief Executive Officer Zafar Masud miraculously survived with relatively minor injuries during the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) crash incident on Friday.
Masood was one of the passengers on board the unlucky aircraft that crashed in the Jinnah Garden area near Model Colony in Malir seconds before landing this afternoon.

A senior journalist Ansar Naqvi is also one of the passengers travelling on PK-8303, but his family has so far been unable to earn about his wellbeing, sources close to his family told Voice of Sindh.
Naqvi has worked for top news channels in the past and is currently leading the news team of another news channel based in Lahore.
He was travelling to Karachi on the flight that crashed near Jinnah Terminal today.
There are many alarming news circulating on social media about Naqvi however, his family has not yet confirmed them.
There were 98 other people travelling in Karachi-bound PIA flight PK-8303 from Lahore.
The BOP president was shifted to the Darul Sehat Hospital after being recovered from the crash site and is reportedly out of danger. He spoke to his mother on the phone and informed her about his health.
Masud has sustained fractures to his hip and collar bones, the Darul Sehat Hospital’s administration said, adding that there were no burn marks on his body, only scratches.
According to the hospital administration, Masud’s CT scan has been done and his condition is out of danger.
Masud’s brother is with him in the hospital.
Reports indicated that the plane’s tail-end hit the ground first and that anyone who survived was seated in the front portion.
Advisor to Sindh government Murtaza Wahab and Minister for Education and Labor have confirmed through their Twitter accounts of two more survivors apart from Masood miraculously having received minor injuries in this crash.
Saeed Ghani also posted a picture with Mohd Zubair one of the survivors who is under treatment at a local hospital now.
