Taylor Swift has announced the release of a docuseries focusing on her highly successful Eras Tour, set to premiere on December 12. The title is “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The End of an Era”.
The six-part series will debut on Disney+ alongside a new concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show”, filmed during the finale of her record-breaking concert series in Vancouver.
The announcement was made on “Good Morning America”, where it was revealed that the docuseries will provide an intimate look at Swift’s life during the tour, which captivated fans worldwide. It will feature appearances from performers, family members and friends, including opening acts Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as guests Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch.
The first two episodes of the docuseries will be available on December 12, followed by two additional episodes the following week and the final two episodes a week later.
Fans can expect the concert film to showcase material from the “Tortured Poets Department” album, which was introduced on the tour. This album has not been released before Swift’s earlier concert film debuted in theatres.
