The Central Prison Karachi’s Maarka-e-Haq celebrations program featured various activities to promote patriotism, spirituality, and national unity. The event began with the singing of the national anthem and recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome note from the Senior Superintendent highlighting the significance of Independence Day.

A documentary on Pakistan’s independence was screened, showcasing the country’s history and struggle for freedom. Aalim delivered a lecture on peace and tolerance in Islam, emphasizing these values’ importance in Pakistani society. Question Answer session was also conducted to engage attendee inmates into a fruitful debate.
The program concluded with Zuhr prayers, marking the end of the event and reflecting the government’s efforts to involve all segments of society in Independence Day festivities.
