Details of the Baba Siddique Murder Case
On October 12, 2024, Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister aged 66, was fatally shot by three assailants outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra East, Mumbai. The senior NCP leader sustained two gunshot wounds to the chest and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The brutal murder shocked Mumbai and sparked a massive investigation, with the Crime Branch invoking the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against the accused.
