He was everyone’s ideal idol.” He added, “Dharam ji, wherever you are, be happy, hopeful, and at peace.” Badshah ended his tribute by reciting one of Dharmendra’s well-known shayaris: “Sab kuch paakar bhi, haasil-e-zindagi kuch bhi nahi, Kambakkht jaan kyun jaati hai jaate hue.”
Dharmendra’s passing on November 24 sent shockwaves across the nation, especially within the film industry. Jeetendra, who shared nearly five decades of friendship with Dharmendra, was seen arriving in the evening to support the grieving family.
