EY Enterprise has announced the expansion of its off-grid solar installation in Winder, Balochistan, increasing capacity from 470 kW to 595 kW. The company said the project expansion reflects its long-term commitment to Balochistan and confidence in the province’s safety, stability, and economic potential.

“This project is more than an energy installation. It is our contribution toward energy independence, sustainable development, and a stronger Pakistan,” an EY Enterprise spokesperson stated. EY Enterprise also acknowledged the role of the Pakistan Army and other security institutions, crediting their commitment and sacrifices for creating an enabling environment for businesses, engineers, and communities to operate and thrive across Balochistan.

“Balochistan is progressing. Balochistan is full of opportunity. EY Enterprise remains committed to building a greener and stronger Pakistan,” the company added. The expanded solar facility in Winder is expected to enhance local energy access and support sustainable industrial and community development in the region.
