3 Pakistan Army soldiers martyred, 2 militants killed in North Waziristan: ISPR

Three Pakistan Army soldiers have been martyred, whereas two terrorists have been killed in North Waziristan, reported ISPR on Wednesday (today).

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Dosali area of North Waziristan.

During the firefight that followed, three Pakistan Army soldiers including a Captain embraced martyrdom, whereas two militants were neutralized by the security forces.

The martyred soldiers have been identified as Captain Faheem, Sepoy Shafi and Sepoy Naseem.

Earlier in the day, four Frontier Corps (FC) soldiers have been martyred in Balochistan in a cross border attack from Afghanistan.

The FC troops were busy in border fencing operations when they were ambushed by terrorists from Afghanistan in Manzakai Sector, District Zhob, Balochistan.

Martyred soldiers included Havaldar Noor Zaman, Sepoy Shakeel Abbas, Sepoy Ehsan Ullah and Naik Sultan. Meanwhile, the wounded were shifted to CMH Quetta for medical treatment.
