Federal Budget 2020-21: Opposition walks out

As the Industries Minister presents Federal Budget 2020-21 in the National Assembly, the opposition members can be seen in the background chanting anti-government slogans and carrying placards reading slogans about corona virus handling and housing scheme promise made by the government.

Opposition members including members of Pakistan Muslim League –N, Pakistan People’s Party and MMA opposed the Federal Budget 2020-21 on late Friday afternoon.

Opposition members could be seen protesting in the background throughout the budget speech that was presented by Federal Minister for Industries Hammad Azhar.

Members can be seen in the background chanting anti-government slogans and carrying placards reading slogans about corona virus handling and housing scheme promise made by the PTI government.

Messages against Prime Minister Imran Khan could be heard while he was also in attendance.

Loud slogans against the premier and table-thumping by the opposition benches could be heard as Azhar highlighted the PTI-led government’s efforts to streamline the economy.
