FIR registered for terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange

A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered for the terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The FIR has been registered in Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Civil Lines on the application of Mithadar SHO.

It includes sections on terrorism, possession of explosive material, exchange of fire with the police, murder and attempted murder.

On Monday, four Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorist attacked Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) building in Karachi around 10:02 am. PSX security guards resisted the attack and prevented the militants from entering the building , giving enough response time to security forces to engage and neutralize the terrorists.

Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Muhammad Shahid – 54, and four security guards were martyred in the attack, whereas several others were injured and are being treated for their injuries.
