Iran names one of its highways after Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Iran has named one of its highways after Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah – Pakistan’s founder and the first Governor General.

The Mohammad Ali Jenah Expressway is located in Tehran, and is a short expressway in Tehran that connects second Sadeghiye Square to Azadi square.

M.A Jinnah for his unmatched statesmanship, has various buildings, landmarks, institutions across the globe named after him such as Muhammad Ali Jinnah Street in Amman (Jordan), Muhammad Ali Jinnah Way in New York (USA), Muhammad Ali Jinnah Way in Chicago (USA), Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Jinnah Close in Birmingham (UK), Jinnah Road in Redditch, Worcestershire (UK).

Even in India, there is a Jinnah Tower in Andhra Pardesh, Jinnah House in Mumbai, and Muhammad Ali Jinnah House in Delhi.
