The development comes after NASA and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic space tourism company signed an agreement to promote space tourism.

Additionally, Elon Musk’s SpaceX successfully transported astronauts to the ISS via reusable Crew Dragon spacecraft last month.

Previously, eight tourists have visited ISS between 2001 and 2009.
