Sindh government hints to re-open Marriage halls with SOP’s

has given a hint to re-open marriage halls after finalizing the precautionary measures, Commissioner Karachi said the SOP’s would be fully implemented after the resumption.

Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the Sindh government is fully aware of the plight of marriage hall owners. In the current situation of the country, all sectors have been badly affected, but there is no compromise on human lives.

These views were expressed by Nasir Hussain Shah during a meeting with the marriage hall owners at Commissioner House Karachi in the presence of Commissioner Karachi, Iftikhar Shalawani, Sindh Information Secretary and representatives of marriage hall owners’ organizations.

The marriage hall owners expressed their concerns to the Sindh Local Government Minister regarding the closure of business in the current Karuna Crisis.

Nasir Hussain Shah told the participants of the meeting that the government of Sindh is fully aware of the current business and economic situation. Unemployed. The Information Minister said that the Sindh government is bound to abide by the policy formulated by the federal government on the issue of COVID-19 Crisis but the Sindh government is fully aware of the plight of all business community including marriage hall owners. Asir Hussain Shah said that at present the process of consultation with all stakeholders is underway and until there is no clear order from the Supreme Court or the federal government, matters need to be handled with utmost steadfastness.

The Sindh government has always stood by its people and business community and inshallah we will soon defeat this epidemic together.

Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that short and limited marriages held in homes could not prevent marriages and leave, but that invitations to weddings would be strictly prohibited.

 The Information Minister assured the association that if any decision was taken by the federal government to open marriage halls, all of you are allowed to open marriage halls without asking the government.

Commissioner Karachi said that after the opening of the marriage hall, the SOPs would be fully implemented while the administration would take action against the violators and would be forced to take strict measures.
