Motor vehicle tax can now be paid online as Sindh government has introduced online facility for vehicle tax payment.
According to Director General (DG) Excise Shoaib Siddique, owners of private and commercial vehicles will now be able to pay motor vehicle tax at any time of the day.

The 24-hour online service is aimed to facilitate public and ensure ease of payment of motor vehicle tax.
The motor vehicle can be paid via ATM Kiosk, internet banking (web portal), Easypaisa mobile application and Jazz Cash payment method.
The online facility aims to prevent people from lining up outside Excise office, saves time and essentially encourage people to pay their motor vehicle tax on due time – an obligation gnerally avoided public due to inefficient red-tape bureaucracy.
As per the notification issued by Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department (ETNC), The government has taken the step to reduce the public visits to offices of ETNC Department to eliminate long queues.
