The Foreign Office has rejected a Reuters report claiming that Pakistan had issued a warning to Iran, describing the report as “baseless.”
“For now, there are no discussions between Pakistan and any party on any such proposal or matter,” the spokesperson said. Foreign Office spokesperson said the report regarding an alleged warning by Pakistan to Iran was not based on facts.

Foreign Office spokesperson Sajjad Haider Khan further said Pakistan will play its role “in accordance with the requirements of the agreement”. He was referring to the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, as Pakistan condemned Houthi attacks targeting civilian and economic sites in Saudi Arabia.
