Sindh Local government minister – Nasir Hussain Shah, on Saturday, announced that the Sindh government has decided to lift timing restriction for fuel stations in the province.
As per the details, the timing restrictions on fuel stations are set to be lifted, allowing them to operate 24 hours a day.
According to Nasir Hussain Shah, the decision has been made to address the difficulties faced by the public in current monsoon spell in the province.
The lifting of timing restrictions for fuel stations is aimed at providing relief to the citizens facing prolonged power outages and intense traffic jams.
Nasir Hussain Shah has stated that the government will soon issue the notification permitting fuel stations to operate round the clock which will ensure the provision of continuous fuel supply for electricity generators as the city has been experiencing prolonged power cuts.
Meanwhile, citizens have been left facing severe difficulties due to extensive traffic jams due to heavy rainfall, resulting in empty fuel tanks and adding to the woes of Karachiites.
