Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar stressed the importance of uninterrupted energy supplies and the safe and expeditious passage of ships during a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, on Saturday.
According to a Foreign Office statement, the two foreign ministers discussed the latest regional developments.
Dar highlighted the importance of maintaining uninterrupted energy supplies and ensuring the safe and expeditious passage of commercial vessels, particularly given their implications for developing countries and global supply chains.
He underscored that dialogue and diplomacy remained the only viable means of ensuring peace and stability in the region.
