Iftikhar Shallwani – the newly appointed Administrator Karachi, stormed out of his very first press conference on Wednesday after facing tough questions from the journalists.
The newly-appointed Administrator Karachi Iftikhar Shallwani held a press conference at Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) office on Wednesday (today).
During the press briefing, Iftikhar Shallwani faced critical questions from the journalists and stormed out after failing to answer journalists’ queries.
Shallwani cited that the press conference was intended to be an introductory briefing and not to mull over what had happened in the past.
Responding to the criticisms regarding his performance as Commissioner Karachi, he contended that he had worked as the commissioner of the city for a long time and organized multiple big events such as the Pakistan Super League in the past.
Furthermore, Iftikhar Shallwani reiterated his commitment to serve the city and that he will abstain from indulging into petty politics.
