Punjab government on Wednesday, imposed ‘micro smart lockdown’ in various cities across the province to curb COVID-19 spread.
According to provincial health department, smart lockdown will further assist in curbing coronavirus spread by targeting COVID-19 hotspots and isolating them.

“Only the micro smart lockdown in the affected areas can stop more people from being infected by coronavirus,” said Muhammad Usman – secretary provincial health department.
As per the details, a total of 33 areas will be sealed across six cities in Punjab under new micro smart lockdown directives.
The lockdown will cover a population of around 3,747.
The micro smart lockdown will be imposed in;
Lahore
66 E Block, PIA Society, B2 Johar Town, House #18, Street #4, Babar Street, Clifton Colony, Wahdat Road, 1758 ST 4 Nishat Colony, Ravi Pul Saeed Park, Abu Baker Masoom Shah, Mangal Street Lohari Gate and H.no1 Street 5b Lajpat Road Shahdara.
