Outgoing Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi on Monday, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
During the meeting PM Imran Khan praised Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi’s services to the nation and contribution to the country’s defence and Pakistan Navy throughout his illustrious career.
Prior to this, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi had paid farewell call on General Nadeem Raza – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) on Saturday at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi.
Vice Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi will succeed over the outgoing Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi who will hand over the command to the former in a change of command ceremony scheduled to be held at PNS ZAFAR, Islamabad on October 7th.
