Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Saudi Arabia on Saturday (today) on his three-day official visit to the kingdom.
PM Imran Khan along with his wife and First Lady Bushra Bibi arrived in Saudi Arabia on his three-day visit to the kingdom. Upon arrival he was received by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
The premier’s delegation also includes Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman, Senator Faisal Javed Khan, Food Minister Punjab Aleem Khan, SAPM on Political Communications Dr Shahbaz Gill and Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi.

PM Imran Khan along with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other delegation members, held delegation-level talks with Saudi leadership to mull over bilateral relations and future cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides explored prospects to further deepen and diversify the existing bilateral political, economic, trade, defence and security ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The talks also discussed job opportunities for the Pakistani workforce, and the welfare of the Pakistani diaspora in the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan reiterated Pakistan’s continuing support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and the protection of the two Holy Mosques.
The premier also praised Saudi Arabia’s ‘Green Saudi Arabia and Green Middle East’ pro-environment initiatives launched by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues as PM Imran Khan accentuated the situation in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and stressed the importance of peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
Following the talks, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed multiple Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) over a wide range of issues including cooperation in the fields of energy, media, prisoners exchange and others.
PM Imran Khan and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman also signed the Agreement on Establishment of the Saudi-Pakistan Supreme Coordination Council (SPSCC).

Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan also visited Medina to pay respects to pay his respects at the Roza-e-Rasool (Peace be Upon Him). Upon his arrival, he was received by Governor Medina Amir Faisal bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
It is to be noted that this is the PM Imran’s third official visit to the kingdom since he came to power in August 2018.
