All over Pakistan, banks would be re-starting with their previous timings after the four months enduring voyage in the world of the coronavirus.
The state bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared the news on Thursday, following the order of government for the approach of adjusting the businesses and things in their previous timings – after tolerating all the chaos of covid-19, for whole four months.
Banking hours has been limited for a shorter limit of time, it’s been four months. Since coronavirus is a lethal virus. Therefore, government – to follow safety measures for the sake of saving lives, deducted the bank hours were short, separate timings for individual branches, to control the outspread of the deadly virus.
The state bank stated the notice regarding to the exact banking hours from 13th of July (Monday) for all banks and (MFBs) microfinance banks from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm from Monday to Thursdays – including prayer and lunch hour break from 1:30 to 2 pm. From 9:00 am to 5:30 pm for Friday, with the exceed of lunch break and prayer timings from 1pm to 2:30 pm.
Their business Therefore, the SBP stated that the banks and MBPs should consider the other businesses branches timings, in accordance with their business obligation.
All the banks and MBPs are importantly counsel to accept the current timings – in letter and essence – mentioned by a press release by the state bank of Pakistan.
