It is to be noted that Indian government has been continuously intensifying its efforts to suppress Kashmiris’ dissent against the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian constitution which gave especial status to Kashmir region.

Pakistan has repeatedly condemned Indian brutalities and human rights violations in the disputed territory stating that inhumane suppression tactics will never be successful in discouraging Kashmiris from exercising their right to self-determination in accordance with international law and United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.
