‘CPEC Internship program’ launched, will focus on youth empowerment and leadership development

Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa – Chairman China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority announced the launching of ‘CPEC Internship Program’ on Saturday.

Asim Bajwa took to social media to announce the launching of three-month ‘CPEC Internship Program’ aimed at youth empowerment and leadership development among country’s young population.

“Human/social development is our focus….. a tremendous opportunity exists to develop young leaders with max productivity,” he tweeted.

Around 100 interns will be hired for CPEC Internship Program that is scheduled to last from October till December 2020. Monthly stipends will be provided to the interns who will indulge in evidence-based policy advising, and development of leadership and management skills.

The applications will open on Tuesday August 18th.
