Petroleum crisis to be managed in 3 days, claims Omar Ayub

Federal Minister for Petroleum Omar Ayub has said that the government would be able to overcome petrol crisis within the next three days as administration gears up for against hoarders.

Addressing media on Thursday, the federal minister said that the government has initiated action against those stocking petroleum reserves which led to an artificial shortage.

“This is the first time that action is being taken against this mafia,” claimed the federal minister.

He also alleged that the ‘oil mafia’ was not letting the people take relief from the subsidized petroleum prices, adding that the petrol demand has surged by 30%.

Earlier, the Prime Minister had ordered strict action against those responsible for the artificial shortage of petroleum products in the country.
