SCO rejects Indian objections over Pakistan’s political map

Indian objections over Pakistan’s political were rejected in a virtual meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

Indian objections against Pakistan’s new political map have been rejected during a virtual meeting of security advisors under the platform of SCO today.

During the meeting Ajit Doval – Indian National Security Advisor, raised objections over Pakistan’s new political map depicting Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) as part of Pakistan.

Dr. Moeed Yusuf – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Division, represented Pakistan and reiterated Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir issue.

However, Indian objections and concerns were rejected by SCO member countries in support for Pakistan’s support for the Kashmir cause and Kashmiri people against Indian occupation which in fact are a violation of several United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCR).

It is pertinent to know that Pakistan on August 4th, introduced a new political map with respect to the Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir festivities to mark first anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian constitution by Narendra Modi led BJP government.
