Two Pak Army soldiers martyred, militant killed in North Waziristan

A militant was killed while two army soldiers, including a captain, martyred during an exchange of fire between patrolling party and terrorists in Waziristan, here on Sunday.

A statement issued by ISPR stated, terrorists, fired at Security Forces’ Patrolling party, 5 km South-East of Ghariom near North Waziristan District and South Waziristan District boundary.

The martyred Pakistan Army officials were identified as Captain Sabih and Sepoy Naveed. In addition, two army soldiers also suffered injuries.

The terrorists opened fire on security forces personnel and in retaliation, Pak Army responded befittingly and destroyed the hideout of the militants.

Earlier, two personnel of the security forces were martyred in an attack on security check-post in Eidak area in Mirali tehsil in North Waziristan district.

Unidentified gunmen attacked the security forces check-post located on the main road in Eidak area in Mirali tehsil. As a result, Havaldar Zafar and soldier Asif embraced martyrdom.

Later during sanitization a Terrorist’s compound was cleared.
