27% of Pakistan’s coronavirus cases locally transmitted: Zafar Mirza

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Dr. Zafar Mirza has told that the 27 per cent of the total cases reported in Pakistan are the ones that were locally transmitted because of failure to maintain social distancing.

Zafar Mirza told the press that 420 cases reported till Sunday are a result of local transmission.

Mr. Mirza further added that, “Over 120 cases have been reported during the last 24 hours.”

Mirza urged people to stay at home to reduce pace of cases by observing social distancing.
